The focus of the effort this year is on the drug and alcohol usage amongst our teens and is also a crackdown on youth violence. The proceeds raised this year will help to assist with many local programs. The Brown County Sheriff’s Benevolent Association is a fraternal organization made up of 148 officers serving the Brown County Sheriff’s Department. This organization was founded to provide financial help to it’s members and the organizations they belong to within Brown County. Over the past several years, events like this one have helped our organization donate over $200,000 to local charities!
Every dollar you donate will directly benefit programs right here in our community.
For our fifteenth straight year we are proud to announce our annual benefit concert to be held on Saturday October 27th 2012 at the Weidner Center. Coming in again to help out with the effort this year is Terry Lee Goffee the ULTIMATE tribute to Johnny Cash! That evening as well we will be distributing our 2012 Crime Prevention Safety Journal & Business Directory. The Weidner Center will open the doors for seating at 6:30 P.M. and the show will start at 7:30 P.M. and it should run for approximately 90 minutes.
